SIO Webinar – December 14, 2018 12:30 – 1:30 PM ET

We are pleased to once again offer this widely attended Webinar, which originally aired in September. Eugene Ahn, MD will be on hand to provide a live introduction and audience Q&A following Dr. Abrams’ pre-recorded presentation.

As cannabis becomes more widely available for medical purposes increasing numbers of cancer patients are reporting benefit from its use. The published medical literature is thin on evidence. Oncologists report that they often recommend medical cannabis for their patients but describe a lack of knowledge to support their recommendations. An internet lore suggests that cannabis may be useful not only for treating symptoms related to cancer and its treatment but to treating cancer itself. Join us to learn the latest information on integrating cannabis into conventional cancer care.
