SIO Guidelines Conflict of Interest Policy
SIO requires conflict of interest (COI) disclosure by individuals involved in drafting, reviewing, and approving guideline recommendations and sets limits on the financial relationships that panel members and reviewers can have with companies that could reasonably be affected by care delivered in accordance with guideline recommendations. SIO’s Conflict of Interest Policy Implementation for Clinical Practice Guidelines provides details on the management of potential COI through each phase of guideline development.
Confidentiality Agreement Regarding SIO Clinical Practice Guidelines
During a guideline’s open comment period, in order to have access to the survey with draft recommendations, all interested individuals must download the Confidentiality Agreement, sign it and return it via email to guidelines@integrativeonc.org.
