Precision Medicine in Molecular Integrative Oncology – Part Two, presented by William LaValley, MD

In his first Webinar, Precision Medicine in Molecular Integrative Oncology: Matching Natural Health Products to Molecular Targets, William LaValley, MD, provided an initial definition of Molecular Integrative Oncology and used visually understandable imagery to introduce relevant, rigorously evidence-based information about natural product suppplement molecules to multi-target anti-cancer molecular effects, and to introduce the concept of “overlapping and synergistic” molecular-network targeting by combining multiple multi-target natural product supplements in a treatment plan.

Part Two: Practical Overview of Molecular Networks in Cancer and Targeting with Natural Health Products aired on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. (EST) and is now avalable here”Because clinicians haven’t had enough molecular biology training to feel comfortable accessing the vast amount of literature available on these subjects, there exists a huge gap for physicians (and their patients) to reliably access these treatment options.”

The webinar will conclude with an overview of targeting of multiple molecular networks similarly shown in Part One, with the general framework concepts of molecular networks llustrated.

Webinars such as these are just one of the many benefits of membership in SIO. As a courtesy to our non-members, we are making Part One available to members and non-members as a way of demonstrating the value that SIO membership brings to your continued training and knoweldge of the field of Integrative Oncology.
