SIO members involved in clinical, research, academic and other settings for integrative oncology care, are often seeking information on clinical trials. For convenient reference, SIO is pleased to provide its members with ClinicalTrials.gov, a web-based registry and results database of publicly and privately supported clinical studies of human participants around the world. Frequently accessed by health care professionals, patients, their family members and advocates, the database includes a wide range of diseases and conditions.

This resource is maintained by the National Library of Medicine at the National Institutes of Health, with information provided and updated by the sponsors or principal investigators of the clinical studies Submissions are generally made when studies begin and updates made throughout their duration. Among purposes, the site is used to obtain such information as open trials or studies in certain fields or locations for particular needs; find possible collaborators, keep current and research developments.
